It’s a great pleasure to introduce you the staff and program of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Debrecen. Our Faculty provides an experienced education in the pharmaceutical health care system for Hungary and foreign countries, and offers a dynamic curriculum enabling the graduate to develop theoretical and practical skills that are suitable for the everyday pharmaceutical practice. The pharmaceutical education was set up in 1996 at the University of Debrecen, and in 2003, the pharmaceutical education awarded the full accreditation and became the third Faculty of Pharmacy among the Hungarian universities. The need for pharmaceutical education in Hungary is great, and our faculty is helping to ensure that a well-trained pharmacist is available in the North-East Hungary.
The Faculty is home to six academic departments in pharmaceutical sciences, which focus on various fields of the pharmaceutical sciences. Bringing together these various fields in the area of pharmaceutical sciences allow a multidisciplinary approach the complex health care problems.
