The University of Debrecen Pharmaceutical Ecosystem Center is an integral part of the University's multidisciplinary health industry ecosystem, supporting the entire pharmaceutical innovation value chain from basic research to market deployment. The Center's mission is to connect the University's research capabilities with the need of the industry, fostering the development of novel pharmaceuticals, healthcare technologies, and services, and facilitating their commercialization and social impact.
The Center's activities encompass support for pharmaceutical research and development, manufacturing technologies, and distribution processes. In addition, it provides integrated services in market research, financing, asset management, intellectual property management, regulatory affairs, and marketing authorization, as well as pharmaceutical, medical, legal, and business support. This comprehensive approach ensures that innovative research outcomes progress beyond the laboratory and are successfully transformed into market-ready products and services that meet regulatory, commercial, and societal requirements.
