The current main building of the Faculty of Pharmacy, which housed the Pharmacy and Dean's Office of the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen, was handed over in 2001, and the new building fully meets the requirements of the University of Debrecen's clinics in accordance with EU requirements. Without the dedicated help and cooperation of the former and current management of the University, the Faculty of General Medicine, and the departments of the former Lajos Kossuth University Faculty of Science, where the acquisition of chemical and biological subjects is provided for pharmacy students, pharmacy training would not have taken place at the University of Debrecen. .The Hungarian anthem was played for the first time in 2001, when the first diplomas in pharmacy were handed over at the solemn council meeting of the University of Debrecen. With the support and guidance of the then Rector's Management, the accreditation plan of the Institute of Pharmacy was completed, which was approved by the Hungarian Accreditation Committee in 2003, and from that year the Faculty of Pharmacy .
