The Department of Molecular and Nanopharmaceutics of our Faculty was established at the end of 2023 in response to the new challenges facing modern pharmaceutical research and development. Our teaching is based on fostering a multidisciplinary approach, with particular emphasis on the fundamentals of biochemistry and knowledge of nanopharmaceutics. Our research focuses on two main areas: the study of nanoscale drug delivery systems, in particular cyclodextrins and other macrocyclic compounds; and research into genome structure, transgenerational epigenetics and the spatial organisation of chromosomes. Our aim is to teach the latest findings in this field and to conduct research at the forefront of the international scientific community.
