The department's research direction connects clinical endocrinological issues with biomarker and drug therapy studies. Its main topics are the follow-up of thyroid diseases and differentiated thyroid cancer, thyroid hormone therapy, growth hormone deficiency, and the relationship between metabolic biomarkers and cardiovascular risk. The research is based on clinical data, laboratory measurements and multicenter collaborations.
